China Railway Construction Caribbean Ltd will build the new airport terminal in Tobago.

The project will cost TT$1.2 billion which covers the cost of the new airport terminal ($870 million)  and the upgrade of the existing facility  ($36 million) as well as for the acquisition of land for the project.

Government is in the process of trying to acquire 53 acres of land for the project and has earmarked $300 million for the payout.

China Railway  was  awarded the contract for the construction of the Curepe Interchange which is currently under construction.
