The TTPS has seized $17.7 million worth of high-grade marijuana in the South Western Division. An intelligence unit of the TTPS conducted the operation. The bust was made yesterday between 1 pm and 8 pm, at an apartment in Dow Village, South Oropouche. Officers of the Southern Division Task Force discovered that a major drug trafficking network operating in the South Western peninsular had smuggled a large quantity of narcotics over the weekend. Using this information the officers conducted a search which resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of high-grade marijuana from the premises.
