Seveneteen-year-old Ryan Mc Guire, made the ultimate sacrifice when he tried to save two of his friends from drowning. The two girls lived but Mc Guire sadly died during his rescue attempt. The incident happened at Tyrico Bay. Mc Guire had visited the beach with some members of the Oropune Police Youth Club. After he swam out to save the girls he was submerged and his body washed ashore 15 minutes later.
