Two years after a double murder at Barton Lane in Belmont, Anthony Moore was charged with murder ,shooting with intent and possession of firearm and ammunition.

The victims were  Jamal Modeste, 20, and Mukhtar Ali,25,  who were killed on December 3rd, 2017 when they were both ambushed and shot dead. Ali died at the scene while Modeste died at the Port of Spain General hospital where the female victim was also treated and eventually discharged.

Moore,  who is also known as Chico, is a hospital attendant, of St. Francois Valley Road, Belmont. He was charged with the crime after extensive investigations by the Homicide Bureau.
