$25,000 Reward For Help In Finding Toddler’s Killer

By Newsroom

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is offering a $25,000 reward for anyone with information which can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators who killed two year old Aniah McCloud.

The announcement was made by Police Commissioner Gary Griffith, during a press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.

Baby Aniah and her father,  39 year old Stefon McCloud were gunned down along Upper Fairly Street in Tunapuna last Friday, sparking outrage in various quarters.

Commissioner Griffith, however, believes the public outcry was unmatched for the crime, saying he “would put his head on a block” and bet that the outrage would have been far more intense had the child died by a police firearm.

“We can’t be two sided. There’s a saying that you cannot be half pregnant. Is it that we only have anger and concern only when the police are involved in shootings?” Griffith asked.

Anyone with information on the toddler’s killing is urged to contact Crimestoppers or 800-TIPS.
