Police have seized $300,000 worth of marijuana at an apartment building in Feabeau Village, Laventille Road, San Juan.

CID officers were at the time executing a search warrant for dangerous drugs following a surveillance exercise into the dealing of narcotics in the area.

Police allegedly found and seized 45 packets of compressed marijuana in a room located in the building.

The packets weighed 22.5 kilogrammes.
