Police have launched an investigation after the body of an 80 year old man, identified as Winston Kallian, was found hog tied to a tree outside his Wallerfield home on Monday morning.

Kallian was last seen alive around 7:30am, shortly before he left to go into the garden at his home.

When he failed to return, a search was conducted and his body was found with his hands bound and a rope around his neck.

Kallian’s licensed 16 guage Winchester shotgun was also missing from his home.
