PM Undergoes MRI Exam To Monitor Lung Functions

Prime Minister was taken to hospital on Wednesday, where he underwent and MRI screening to monitor his lung activity.

This was revealed by the Office of the Prime Minister in its third statement for the day to provide information on the PM’s status.

OPM also revealed, for the first time since news of the PM’s diagnosis broke on Tuesday, that Dr. Rowley is being kept in isolation at the official Residence at Blenheim.

He was taken to the Scarborough General Hospital at Signal Hill for the MRI examination to be conducted.

The Prime Minister has since returned to quarantine at the Blenheim Residence where he continues to be monitored and cared for by the staff of the Tobago Regional Health Authority.

Dr. Rowley tested positive for the virus on Monday evening, after experiencing flu-like symptoms.

 He continues working while in isolation having met with US Congresswoman Maxine Waters via video conferencing today. 

The PM will engage in other meeting on Thursday and will also lead the weekly meeting of Cabinet virtually.
