Several customers in south Trinidad are currently being affected by low water pressures or in some cases no water at all. The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) has advised that this is due to a mechanical problem affecting one of the pumps at the Navet Water Treatment Plant.

In a press release, WASA confirmed that emergency repair works are currently underway and are expected to be completed at 4:00 p.m. on Friday 26th August 2022.
