In some sad news, Theresa Lynch’s body has been found. According to various media reports, she was found in a bamboo grove on the banks of the river leading to Lopinot, from where she was swept.

The 44-year-old woman was swept away on October 5 while trying to cross a ravine in La Pastora Village, Lopinot. She was with her 45-year-old brother and another individual and as they tried to cross a ravine in the vicinity of McDavid Trace she slipped into the rushing waters of the ravine.

The T&T Fire Service Search and Rescue team, the Hunters Search and Rescue team and the T&T Police Service conducted the search for her body.
