Sando Mayor Condemns Vandalization Of Black Stalin’s Gravesite

By Newsroom

San Fernando Mayor Junia Regrello has condemned the vandalization of Black Stalin’s grave, calling the act sad and unfortunate.

Mayor Regrello visited the Paradise Cemetery weekend, where the veteran’s grave had been littered with empty syringes, feces and a crown laid on top of it destroyed.

The city’s homeless are believed to be the culprits and the Mayor says a meeting is carded for Tuesday to address the longstanding challenge.

“This is the damage that is being done by these pests in society,” the city mayor said as he repeated an appeal for citizens to stop feeding the homeless who roam the nearby Harris Promenade.

“These people assemble on the Promenade basically for meals. The public feeds them at least three times a day, and in between meals they find things to do. The devil finds work for idle hands, so they become pests to society. They come from as far as north and east and assemble because San Fernando people are very generous. But it comes with a cost. They are destructive. There are nocturnal activities. We must put a stop to this”, said Regrello.
