Three men have been arrested and illegal drugs were seized during anti-crime operations carried out by officers in the Southern Division on Monday, February 24th, 2025.

According to the TTPS, in an operation targeting several drug blocks, three suspects ages 21, 25, and 48 were arrested for possession of a weapon; a knife and the possession of 65 grams of cannabis.

Additionally, in another operation based on intelligence, PC Roberts and his team proceeded to Pariag Street, Marabella. A search near a garbage heap led to the discovery of 526 grams of cocaine.

The exercise was coordinated by Snr Supt Rodhill Kirk, Supt Singh, ASP Phillip, Insp Wilkinson, Sgt Steele, and supervised by Cpls Lancaster, Mitchell and Nanan and included officers of Southern Divisional Task-Force and Criminal Investigations Department.

Investigations are ongoing.
