Police officers seized a quantity of Cannabis during exercises in the North Eastern Division yesterday, April 4th, 2025.

The TTPS disclosed that in the Morvant policing district, officers conducted an intelligence-led operation at Benjamin Drive, Never Dirty and discovered eighty (80) fully grown marijuana trees and fifty (50) marijuana seedlings approximately 100 feet into a track off the southern side of the roadway.

The items were seized by PC Bandoo.

Additionally, during a search of an empty apartment linked to a report of Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, officers seized two (2) pistol holsters and a plastic bag containing approximately 499 grams of cannabis. No arrests were made.

The exercises were coordinated by Snr. Supt. Carty, Supt. Birch, ASP Callender, Martin, Insp. Ramsingh, Sgt Martin, Cpl Daniel and Duncan and members of the North Eastern Division Task Force.
