Peter Minshall returned to T&T’s carnival scene with a dominant performance. His presentation ‘Mas Pieta’ portrayed by Kinetic Mas, won Overall Band of the Year. The new title was introduced by the National Carnival Commission last year.

The prize is given to the top band from across all size categories including small, medium and large. ‘Mas Pieta’ also took the coveted Large Band of the Year title.

The results of Carnival 2020 were announced earlier today at the NCC VIP Lounge at the Queen’s Park Savannah. Coming in second was Ronnie & Caro with their presentation of “Cry of the Serengeti” and The Lost Tribe took the third spot with “Anansi”.

K2K Alliance topped the Medium Band Category for the sixth consecutive year. Image Nation took placed second and Exousia Mas came third.
