One more person diagnosed with Covid-19 bringing the total to 90

Another case of the Covid-19 virus has been confirmed bringing the total to 90. According to the Ministry of Health’s update as of this afternoon of Wednesday April 1st, 595 samples were submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) for testing for COVID-19. The number of deaths now stands at five and one person has recovered from the virus.

The latest confirmed case had exposure to patients with viral symptoms.

Of the total number of positive cases, 49 of these positive cases came from the group of nationals who recently returned from a cruise: 46 positive cases from the group of 68 nationals who returned from the cruise together and 3 positive cases from the group of nationals who returned from the same cruise separately from the other 68 nationals
