The TT MET Service has downgraded its Adverse Weather Alert to the Green Level.

As a result, the Adverse Weather Alert is being discontinued. The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service said in an update around 4.00 pm that rainy conditions were weakening, however, some showers in various locations might still occur overnight and tomorrow.

At 3 am on Friday the Met Office announced the country would be upgraded from yellow to orange alert, in response to a tropical wave travelling west across the Atlantic.

The alert ended at 4 pm on Friday.
