Air quality returns to normal

By Newsroom

It seems the worst is over for now, as most islands across the Eastern Caribbean are experiencing good air quality levels.

Presently, there are minimal concentrations of Saharan Dust across Trinidad and Tobago, with air quality at good levels. The Environmental Management Agency (EMA) air quality monitoring stations are presently recording AQI values at good levels, based on T&T’s air quality standards, while other air quality monitoring stations are reporting air quality at good levels, based on United States standards. This information is according to the T&T Weather Center.
