The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has disclosed that reservoir levels across the country have all crossed the halfway mark–based on the Long Term Average (LTA) expected.
In an update released today, December 5, WASA said that water levels at its Arena reservoir are currently at 63.68 percent, or 110.2 feet. The LTA for this reservoir is 87.8 percent, or 116.07 feet. One week ago, on November 281, the reservoir was at 57.99 percent capacity, or 108.45 feet in depth.
Meanwhile, WASA’s Hollis reservoir has a current capacity of 88.42 percent, or 616.10 feet. Its LTA stands at 89.78 percent, or 617.17 feet.
One week ago Hollis stood at 71.09 per cent or 612.6 feet.
The current levels at the Navet reservoir in South Trinidad stand at 62.72 per cent or 302.4 feet. Its expected LTA is 91.98 per cent or 310.0 feet.
Across in Tobago, the Hillsborough reservoir remains filled to capacity at 870 feet.
