The TTPS has received 42 cases of hand sanitizers from Angostura Holdings Limited to protect police officers while on duty during the COVID-19 crisis.
The sanitizers were handed over to Police Commissioner, Gary Griffith, at a ceremony at the Police Administration Building, corner Edward and Sackville Streets, Port of Spain, today April 1st, 2020.
According to the TTPS: “In his address, Rahim Mohammed, Executive Manager, Corporate Services of Angostura Holdings Limited, said the company noticed there was a shortage of hand sanitizers around the world, and felt it was their corporate responsibility to provide a service of giving back.”
The donation was from the first batch of hand sanitizers from Angostura Holdings Limited, made according to the World Health Organization standards, with 80% alcohol.
