Official update from the Ministry of Health:

The Ministry of Health regrets to inform the public that there is an additional COVID-19 related death. The person is an adult male with pre-existing medical conditions. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 12.

Thirteen (13) additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.

-Nine (9) positive cases – (Trinidad) 

-Four (4) positive cases (Tobago)

Awaiting laboratory forms for categorisation purposes (i.e. contact of COVID-19 positive patient or pending epidemiological investigation etc.)

All established protocols have been implemented.

COVID-19 Positive Patients in Hospital – (149)

Seventy- five (75) patients are en route/ being admitted to hospital.

Forty –six (46) new patients will be processed for admission.
