On the heels of the gruesome discovery of a murdered central couple, yesterday December 4, comes news that another double murder has been recorded in the central area in just about 24 hours. According to emerging reports, a passer-by discovered the bodies of two men who appeared to have been chopped to death.

Police confirmed with Guardian Media that the bodies were discovered about 50 meters south of Rivulet Road, Couva, and just east of Milton Junction.

The TTPS also revealed that the men appeared to be in their 40s and bore several chop wounds on their bodies. One of the men is reported to be of East Indian descent and the other is said to be of mixed descent.

Their identities are yet to be confirmed.
