A 50-year-old man has been charged with one count of sexual penetration of a minor.  The man of Palo Seco was charged on Monday, the same day of the alleged incident which was first reported to the Child Protection Unit of the  Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. Police reports allege that he entered the victim’s bedroom and sexually assaulted her. The victim called out for help and was assisted by other family members, who made the report.

He is expected to appear at the Siparia Magistrate’s Court today.
