The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) says it will begin payments of the Rental Assistance Grants to Tobago landlords from tomorrow from tomorrow, June 9th.

In a statement on Monday, the Division said both the landlord and applicant will be informed of the payment, adding that the verification process for the COVID-19 Rental Assistance Grant, is ongoing.

The Division said it is aware that many members of the public require urgent social service support, however it said there is an assessment process for clients to receive any type of support from the Division. The Division urges members of the public to please exercise patience as the Division’s team works to meet those in need.
