Trinidad and Tobago’s Kelly-Ann Baptiste is into the semi-finals of the women’s 100 meters at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar. 

 The 32-year-old, who won a bronze medal at the 2011 Championships in South Korea, clocked 11.21 seconds on Saturday morning to cop the second automatic qualifying spot behind race favorite Elaine Thompson of Jamaica, who won in 11.14 seconds. 

She will run out of Lane 6 in semi-final 3 on Sunday.
