Family members of a 13-year-old girl, who was found dead at her Beetham Gardens home from an apparent suicide on Tuesday, are receiving psychological support from the Victim and Witness Support Unit(VWSU) of the  Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

In a statement on Thursday, the VWSU acknowledged that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic can be very stressful and encouraged families to be vigilant for signs of stress and depression, especially among children.
