A 23 year old man will appear virtually before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate today, charged with the 2019 murder of Joshua Fortune.

Shurland Brown,  also known as ‘Big Mesh’,of Long Circular Road, St James, was arrested last Thursday and was formally charged with the crime yesterday following the advice of Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr. Roger Gaspard SC.

Fortune had moved out of the St James area  a couple of months before his death and had returned in September 2019.
