Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered in Cedros on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 57 year old Kissoon Motee, from Cedros. The discovery was made at around 7 am, by a jogger who was taking a morning run along Limefield Road.

Police who visited the scene say Motee had a wound to the head and there was also blood on the roadway.

The man’s body was taken to the Forensic Sciences Complex where an autopsy is to be conducted.
