British High Commissioner Harriet Cross Presents Credentials To President Paula-Mae Weekes

Having completed her 14 day quarantine after arriving to Trinidad and Tobago last month, new British High Commissioner Harriet Cross has submitted her credentials to President Paula-Mae Weekes, at a small ceremony which took place at President’s House

Sharing the moment online, Cross, who is the first woman to serve as British High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago, tweeted on Wednesday : “I had the great honour to present my credentials (a letter from Her Majesty The Queen) to Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes, President of the Republic of T&T”

Harriet Cross replaces former British High Commissioner to T&T, Tim Stew who has been transferred to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
