Caribbean Airlines suspended its services to Havana today due to inclement weather associated with the passage of Hurricane Ian.

The two flights between Port of Spain and Havana have been rescheduled to Wednesday, September 29th.

Ian intensified into a major hurricane packing sustained winds of around 125 mph early this morning just before hitting western Cuba.

The powerful Category 3 storm is expected to continue strengthening as it passes over the island on a track for the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, with Florida’s west coast in its path later this week.
