Eight of the 31 bands competing in the semi-finals of the  Small Conventional Steelbands will be playing Trouble in the Morning when they battle for the top 14 spots in the Grand Finals which will be held one week later.

The arena is in front of Victoria Square, Park Street, Port of Spain and the First band to cross the road stage will be Perfect Cadence. (See below for the order of appearance.)

Over several days in December 2019, forty (40) bands performed in panyard judging from which the 31 were selected.

Defending Champions, Defence Force Steel Orchestra (in photo) playing Duvone Stewart’s arrangement of   Government Boots,  finished low down the order after the preliminary round and are working hard to storm back to be among the contenders, hoping to retain their title.

Come Saturday, the panel of judges will comprise Ezra Joseph, Joanna Shortt, Kenrick Noel, Vorbin Cordice, Richard Pierre and Roger Sardinah.
