A Tobago police officer charged with four counts of sexually penetrating a 15 year old girl, has been granted $175,000 bail with a surety or $25,000 cash alternative.
The 24-year-old man appeared before Magistrate Sherene Murray-Bailey in the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday after being formally charged on Thursday.
The matter has been postponed to July 24th, 2020.
The accused was charged by W/Sgt (Ag) Cavelle Mills Walters of the Tobago Division Child Protection Unit (CPU) following a report made to officers surrounding alleged sexual abuse over an extended period of time.
