The body of 23 year old coconut vendor Amar Mohammed was found along the Manzanilla coastline on Tuesday morning.

Mohammed’s throat was slit, with his hands and feet bound with tie straps and duct tape around his neck.

He was last seen alive on Monday morning, when he reportedly left his home at Clarke Trace, Plum Road, to collect an undisclosed sum of money.

Mohammed’s body was found at around 5.30 a.m. on Tuesday by his family members during their search for him.

Homicide investigators are continuing investigations.
