Commissioner of Police, Erla Christopher has confirmed that she is aware of a video circulating on social media which shows two officers allegedly attempting to arrest a man in the Princes Town district yesterday, Monday 20th February, 2023.

The video suggests a tumultuous arrest. The Top Cop has confirmed that the Police are already taking action as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of the South/Central Division, Lucia Winchester has already launched an investigation into the matter.

She added that she was confident that the investigation will be carried out expeditiously, fairly and without favour, and she is awaiting the final report from those tasked with undertaking the investigation.
