In under 24 hours, a third body has been discovered down a precipice along the North Coast Road.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team made the find around 9:30 this morning.

On Monday afternoon, the first two bodies were found near the Pillars on the North Coast Road.

They are believed to be that of 33 year old Ako Mathews and his girlfriend Chantelle who were reported missing, along with another man, four days ago.

Ako’s body was identified by a relative but Chantelle’s body has not been officially identified since it was burnt during a bush fire which cleared the area.
