COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Jamaica

Dr. Christopher Tufton the Minister of Health and Wellness in Jamaica has confirmed that there are 19 new cases of COVID-19, which brings the total number of cases in the island to 252.

Ten of the recently reported cases are linked to the business process outsourcing (BPO) entity, Alorica, in Portmore, St Catherine. There are now 131infected workers from the company. Seven cases are from the Ministry of Health.
