They were charged with having a gathering in a public place which exceeded five persons, as is stipulated in the Public Health Order.

All 11 persons appeared before Port of Spain Magistrate Adia Mohammed via video conferencing on Wednesday.

TheTrinidadian nationals were each granted a $20,000 bail, on the condition that they remain at their residences between 6:00pm and 8:00am, until government lifts the existing COVID-19 Regulations.

The non-nationals were denied bail and remanded into custody.
