Effective today, April 4th, Covid-19 Safe Zones are officially no more, as the Public Health Ordinance has been amended to allow unvaccinated members of the public to mix and mingle in public spaces such as restaurants, bars and cinemas.

Mask wearing is still mandated in all public settings.

The measure was first announced by Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley on March 26th, marking a significant step as government forges ahead in its preparation for the endemic stage of the virus.

Government has also lifted enforced limits on public gatherings.

In addition, all restrictions on visiting rivers and beaches have also be removed from today.
