Cultural Icon Errol Fabien Seeks To Raise $350K To Save His Home From Foreclosure

By Newsroom

Veteran television broadcaster and activist Errol Fabien is hoping to raise $350,000 within a 24 hour period to save his home, after being evicted from his St. Joseph address on Thursday morning.

Fabien, who also operates his Gayelle television station from the same address, live streamed the happenings on his social media.

“Officers of the court arrived this morning at my house and they are about to put me out. They are going to turn off everything and shut down the station. So, I guess I am saying goodbye to everybody,” a visibly overwhelmed Fabien stated.

He explained  that despite having already paid a ‘significant sum’ of money to the bank, he had been unable to fulfill his mortgage payments over the last few months as the COVID-19 pandemic made it difficult to make ends meet.

A GoFundMe campaign has been started on Fabien’s behalf, in an effort to stop the bank from foreclosing on his home. (Click here if you wish to donate)
