The daughter of 62 year old Sita Jagessar will virtually appear in court this morning, charged with her mother’s murder.

The elderly woman’s body was discovered at her Clarkia Drive home in Debe last Tuesday, by her 13 year old granddaughter who had just returned home from school.

The suspect, who lives at her mother’s house, was arrested last Wednesday, with an autopsy report revealing the victim had been beaten and strangled before her death.

Jagessar was laid to rest yesterday.
