Police are continuing investigations to determine the identity of a decomposing body which was found in the Heights of Aripo on Friday.

According to reports,  a beekeeper was at the Heights of Aripo, Wallerfield, when around 5:15pm he observed the decomposing body off the northern side of the said track.

Police were called and the remains removed. 

Due the advanced state of decomposition, cops have not yet determined whether the body was male or female. 

Investigations are continuing.
