Deon Lendore, T&T Olympic Bronze Medalist, Has Died

The local sporting company has been left gutted following the passing of T&T Olympic Bronze medallist Deon Lendore.

The 29 year old sprinter, who is originally from Arima, was involved in a car accident in Texas on Monday.

Lendore most recently represented T&T at the Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan last year.

At the 2012 London Olympic Games, he earned a bronze medal in the 4x400m.

He also competed in the 2016 Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.

Lendore also won three bronze medals in the World Indoor Championships and was a 4×400 bronze medalist at the Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru back in 2019.
