By Newsroom

With ambulance services strained by the Covid-19 pandemic, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh says talks are ongoing with the Global Medical Response of Trinidad and Tobago, GMRTT, to have more fleet available for Covid-19 patients.

At present, GMRTT has a functioning fleet of 48 ambulances. Meanwhile, at the Regional Health Authorities, 12 of the 50 available ambulances have been designated for Covid patients.
