A final investigative report into the management of this country’s Covid-19 healthcare system has been handed over to the Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh.

Minister Deyalsingh says the investigating committee, chaired by Professor Terrence Seemungal of the UWI, submitted the report yesterday.

The Committe, which had initially been given one week to do its work, sought and received a three week investigation until February 14th.

The file has also been passed on to Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, who appointed the committee to do its work last month.

“As far as making it public, the Prime Minister is on record when he announced this at a press conference at the Diplomatic Centre, that he will make it public. The timing as to when it will be made public will be at the prerogative of the Prime Minister,” Minister Deyalsingh said during Wednesday’s Covid-19 media briefing.
