A double murder was reported at Avocat Village, Fyzabad in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as 67 year old Worlene Joseph and Marvin Cross, both of Fyzabad. 

Police say Joseph was shot in the neck while Cross was had a single gunshot wound to the head.

The incident occurred shortly before 1:30am.

Another victim, a woman, was shot during the attack and is being treated at the San Fernando General Hospital.

Cops are trying to ascertain a motive for the attack.
