A total of eight arrests were made and 39 tickets issued following police exercises in the Northern Division on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The exercises were conducted in the Arima and Arouca Districts. During one exercise warrants were executed in the Arouca Police District during the period 8:00 am to 12 midnight on Tuesday. Five people were arrested for outstanding warrants. Thirty-Nine Tickets were issued.

In Arima,  police officers and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard (TTAG) arrested one man for possession of marijuana and another for an outstanding warrant.

Additionally during a roving exercise one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant. This exercise was conducted in Area Central of the Northern Division.
