The 518  figure includes 177 prisoners under watch by the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service.

Latest statistics from the Health Ministry also show that Tobago and the east-west corridor of the county of St George East now have the highest total number of COVID-19 cases to date. Epidemiologist Dr. Avery Hinds says they’ve also noted that there’s a vast amount of infections being recorded which are traced back to gatherings among extended families.
