WASA workmen continued overnight to advance repairs to a ruptured 21 inch main along the Western Main Road, in the vicinity of Peakes Gas Station, which has disrupted water supply to residents of St.James/Cocorite and environs.
Residents have been advised that it may take up to 12 hours for their supply to normalize once works are completed.
Affected areas include: Long Circular Road, St. James, Dundonald Hill, Dibe, St. James, Fort George, Upper Bournes Road, Cocorite, Powder Magazine and Westmoorings
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution when approaching the jobsite, and to obey the instructions of Traffic Control Officers on duty.
