One month after FIFA announced its decision to dissolve the board of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) over a looming debt concern, the international football governing body has written to the Association reminding them of its decision.
The latest development comes as FIFA said it was informed that a letter dated April 16th was sent to National Security Minister Stuart Young from former TTFA President William Wallace, alleging that the FIFA appointed normalization committee lead by Robert Hadad has no legal standing.
FIFA reiterates that “the only legitimate leadership of the TTFA, recognised by FIFA and Concacaf, is the one led by Mr. Robert Hadad.” As such, it says any type of discussion regarding the use of Home of Football or any other football-related topic should be handled with Mr. Hadad.
