A man, who has been identified as Paul Carrera died after he was allegedly beaten to death by a group of people that he knew.

The 51-year-old man died at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, yesterday, less than 24 hours after the attack.

Police said Carrera was  hit in the head, after being knocked unconscious. Officers of the Homicide Bureau Region II are continuing inquiries.
