Official release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service:

The Commissioner of Police wishes to advise the members of the public that owing to the current situation with Covid-19, the Firearms Section of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, will be closed to the public with immediate effect.

This closure in no way means that the Firearms Section will not be functioning.

The public is advised that they will be contacted by the Firearms Section if there are any issues that may arise on their applications and an appointment will be set up for them to come to the Section.

Persons wishing to drop off applications for any transaction at the Section can do so, but no queries will be entertained.

Upon completion of reviewing the application, persons will be contacted by the Section and given a time and date to retrieve their relevant approvals.
